As you would expect, Nick Leese, Organic's Managing Director, has a wealth of entertainment industry experience. He has worked in video, film, music and games’ marketing from both client and agency side and it is this that gives him his invaluable insight into what client’s really want from him and his team.
He understands the issues and challenges and what to do to overcome them most effectively. He knows who to contact to gain maximum effect with minimum hassle and most importantly he understands what budgetary constraints there might be and how to overcome them using commercial creativity.
He has worked for Total Home Entertainment, Cineworld /UGC, Disney, Fox, Electronic Arts, Warner Music and independent production companies.
He has selected his team at Organic to reinforce and complement his own areas of expertise.
They all have backgrounds in entertainment marketing of one type or another - from music to DVDs, books, games and festivals, cinemas and film. They understand, among other things, distribution, PR, promotions, product management, online marketing, cinema marketing, media and festival management
Junior Foster on the Marketing side has worked for Sony BMG and Universal and fully understands the pressures of release driven marketing and can apply his expertise across music, film and video. When he’s not working, which if you believe him is not often, he's very active in club-land. Though he gave up actually spinning discs himself in favour of spinning out budgets for his clients.
He is ably assisted by Phil Hoile, who having worked for Tartan knows everything you need to know about marketing niche film product. In fact Phil pretty much knows everything you need to know about everything and doubles up as a walking IMDB. That’s what you get for having an MA in Film and Cultural Management.
Our online marketing guru is Tim Struthers. Tim spearheads our online PR, Promotions and sponsorship offering and along with Target’s Digital team, can offer a total online package including seeding, trailer coverage, reviews, a full PR service, promotions and social networking
Chris Timmins, ex Warner Village/Vue Cinemas, Express Group and Birmingham (but don’t hold that against him) is the Account Director on Promotions
His six years in exhibition taught him the sharp end of film promotion and his time at the Express has shown him both sides of the promotional coin so he knows exactly whose buttons to press to get the result that you want from all manner of third parties.
Alex Rowley, the newest recruit to the Organic Marketing team. Alex joins as PR Account Director from the FDA, previously at Icon and The London Film Festival/Premiere PR
Alex is supported by Hannah Wilkinson, who had a classic publicist’s role at Revolver. She understands what distributors want and what they can expect to achieve from their PR activity and she’s gifted in going the extra mile to generate extra coverage from sometimes untapped sources.
Al Stokes completes the team and is an expert at driving admissions at events like the Queensland Musical Festival and for Westfield a major property developer where she ran marketing and events for a number of shopping centres.
